Kapolsek Pahandut Tinjau Pengamanan ibadah Natal di Gereja Katedral
Polresta Palangka Raya – Kapolsek Pahandut Kompol Volvy Apriana meninjau langsung pengamanan jalannya ibadah Natal di Gereja Katedral Santa Maria, Kota Palangka Raya, Rabu (25/12/2024) pagi.
Kegiatan ini bertujuan memastikan keamanan dan kenyamanan umat Kristiani yang melaksanakan ibadah.
Dalam kunjungannya, Kapolsek memeriksa kesiapan personel pengamanan, baik dari kepolisian maupun instansi terkait, serta berkoordinasi dengan pengurus gereja untuk memastikan rangkaian ibadah berjalan lancar.
“Kami ingin memastikan bahwa pengamanan di sini berjalan optimal, sehingga jemaat dapat melaksanakan ibadah Natal dengan aman dan khidmat,” ujar Kapolsek Pahandut mewakili Kapolresta Palangka Raya, Kombes Pol. Dr. Boy Herlambang, S.I.K., M.Si.
Selain memantau situasi di dalam dan sekitar gereja, Kapolsek juga memberikan arahan kepada personel pengamanan untuk tetap waspada terhadap potensi gangguan keamanan. Jemaat yang hadir juga diimbau untuk menjaga ketertiban dan melaporkan hal-hal mencurigakan.
Pengurus Gereja Katedral Santa Maria menyampaikan apresiasi atas kehadiran Kapolsek Pahandut dan jajarannya. Kehadiran petugas di lokasi ibadah memberikan rasa aman bagi jemaat yang hadir.
Polsek Pahandut berkomitmen untuk terus menjaga situasi yang kondusif selama perayaan Natal, tidak hanya di Gereja Katedral tetapi juga di tempat ibadah lainnya di wilayah hukum Polsek Pahandut. (4n5)
