Komite III DPD RI Gelar Sosialisasi Materi Pengawasan UU no. 20 Tahun 2003
Palangkaraya, www.Lensara.id,- Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Republik Indonesia (DPD RI) khususnya Komite III menggelar giat Sosialisasi Materi Pengawasan UU no 20 Tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional, terkait Implementasi Project Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) khususnya pendidikan politik untuk pemilih pemula. 
Politic Education atau pendidikan politik bagi pemilih pemula adalah menjadi tanggungjawab seluruh elemen rakyat Indonesia, tak terkecuali lembaga dan instansi serta pemerintah pusat dan daerah. Oleh karena itu dalam rangka penguatan demokrasi dan pendewasaan beretika demokrasi perlu dilaksanakan guna pencapaian target JURDIL.
Berkenaan dengan kegiatan tersebut Hadir Habib Said Abdurrahman Anggota DPD RI Dapil Kalteng (B. 83), Ass. I bidang Pemerintahan Bapak Syahdin Hasan yang mewakili Walikota Palangkaraya, Ketua KPUD Kota Palangkaraya Bapak Joko Anggoro, Komisioner Banwaslu Kota Palangkaraya Bapak Yansen dan Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kota Palangkaraya. Dan sebagai peserta Hadir perwakilan Badan Eksekutif Mahasiwa IAIN Palangkaraya, BEM Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya, Ketua BEM UNKRIP berserta Jajarannya, Ketua Komsat PMII IAIN Palangkaraya berserta Jajarannya, Dan Akademisi serta Dewan Guru yang mengajar Kewiraan dilingkup Kota Palangkaraya.
Kegiatan yang dimulai pukul 10.00 WIB diawali dengan menyanyikan Lagu Kebangsaan Indonesia Raya dilanjutkan Sambutan dari KPUD Kota Palangkaraya dan paparan tentang tupoksi Penyelenggara Pemilu, lanjut sambutan dari Komisioner Bawaslu dan Paparan, sambutan Kadisdik Kota Palangkaraya, sambutan Asisten l Bapak Syahdin Hasan dan di lanjutkan oleh sambutan dari Habib Said Abdurrahman selaku anggota Komite III DPD RI dapil Kalteng.
Setelah paparan diteruskan dengan dialog atau tanya jawab agar sosialisasi mendapatkan masukan yang bermanfaat sebelum dirumuskan dan dibawa ke Sidang Paripurna di Jakarta imbuh abah (sapaan akrab Habib Said).
Banyak pemasalahan yang masih menjadi polemik terutama kurangnya kesadaran pemilih pemula terhadap hak pilihnya terutama tempat pemilihan suara guna penyaluran Hak Pilih. Juga ada permasalahan belum terdaftarnya pemilih pemula walau sudah diberikan waktu oleh KPU.
Anggita IMM sekaligus anggota BEM UMP menyoroti masalah money Politic dan kecurangan yang masif serta sering terjadi pada setiap pemilu disetiap tingkatannya. Menanggapi hal hal tersebut Habib Said Abdurrahman mengajak kepada semua peserta untuk Jangan Golput dan Ikut serta dalam pengawasan pelaksanaan Pemilu pada tanggal 14 Pebruari 2024.
